Our back story

Quantum London started, as with so many good ideas, in an underground bar in the centre of London’s financial district, between the River Thames and the Bank of England.

We didn’t take any photos in those carefree days of 2019 as we didn’t realise how soon a chat around a bar table would become something of a chimera. But we had great conversations in those early meetings and building on the experiences from Paolo’s studying days in the Germany, at RWTH Aachen, the concept of a Quantum Stammtisch was born.

Now, of course we are online, but the principles remain. Accepting of course that some people join at midnight or at lunchtime in their time zones so the beer may be flowing somewhat less freely!
