Blockchain-focused QuarkChain Attends Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Beijing Summit Attracting Eyeballs from Cloud-computing Leaders

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Beijing Summit was held on July 31st, 2019. Driven by the recent trend in cloud computing, more than 15,000 attendees attended. These attendees came from a wide range of backgrounds including government representatives, large enterprises, university research institutions, cloud computing services suppliers, industrial communities, and cloud computing developers.

QuarkChain was one of the exhibiting companies at the summit. To fully engage with all the attendees, Quarkchain dispatched the full team with CBO Ting Du, CMO Anthurine, Scientistic Yaodong Yang, Director of Development Ping Ke, Director of Business Development Xi Xie and other team members. They discussed in-depth with other attendees to outline the advantages of QuarkChain’s enterprise services as well as to explore further business development opportunities.

Most of the exhibitors were cloud computing companies while QuarkChain was one of the only two blockchain companies in attendance. In fact, being different helped Quarkchain to outshine other exhibitors: the company impressed the participants by its high throughput capability (also known as Transaction Per Second, TPS) and its block-sharding customization. QuarkChain also attracted attention from multiple fields including manufacturing, system integration, smart devices, and enterprise management software.

When Blockchain Is Combined With Cloud Computing

How is blockchain related to cloud computing?That is one of the questions frequently raised by the AWS attendees to us during the summit. For most traditional industries, even cloud computing is regarded as bold and fashionable, not to mention the combination of blockchain and cloud computing.

In reality, the computing power of cloud computing service was already adopted for blockchain service back in 2018 for its ease for deployment and customization. In addition, cloud computing has a better internet connection and guaranteed stability. Based on these advantages, some blockchains projects even configure their whole systems on the cloud computing platform. QuarkChain not only supports mining by cloud computing platform, but also by graphic card (GPU) and CPU to ensure the platform would welcome all sorts of users with different tools when they decide to join its public chain network. During the TPS competition held by QuarkChain last year, many participants achieved a remarkable rate of a 15,000 TPS and the winner achieved an exceedingly impressive rate of TPS of 55,000.

QuarkChain also provides comprehensive solutions for enterprises and partners with more than 70 organizations. During the summit, QuarkChains introduced its technological advantages to top enterprises who visited its exhibition stand, such as Lenovo and Cisco, as well as communicated with their leadership to understand their most pressing needs. These invaluable conversations would shape how Quarkchain develops its products to combine blockchain technology with existing application scenarios.

How Does QuarkChain Satisfy Different Needs Of Different Enterprises?

Some technology fails to be widely adopted because of its limited scope and its scattered demand. It is difficult to design a one-size-fits-all solution to satisfy all application scenarios. Even if such a solution exists, it would lead to a mismatch between some of the use cases and the blockchain capability hence explains the current ecosystem where a wide array of enterprises and solutions exist. For blockchain technology, which is still in the early innings of development, we already see that some projects already run into low demand due to insufficient planning for accommodating different applications at their early stage.
