From August to September, QuarkChain had been very active in Korea and achieved a lot in the Korean market. Let’s have a closer look!
August 5th: QKC Listed on Bithumb Global Listed QKC and Launched QKC Trading
Bithumb Global, a well-known exchange, launched QKC trading online on August 5th, 2019. Bithumb Global (www.bithumb.pro)is an innovative trading platform launched by Bithumb, Korea’s largest digital asset trading platform. Bithumb Global has financial sector entities and multinational financial licences in more than 10 countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong. Customs can share international orders and experiences smoother transactions.
August 7th: “MTN Token Plus” Korea TV show
Jonathan, head of Korea at QuarkChain appeared on Korea’s TV show “MTN Token Plus” live on the 7th. He introduced QuarkChain to the Korean audience.

August 14-September 13: QKC buying contest with Bitman, Korea’s biggest community
QuarkChain and Bitman, one of the biggest crypto communities in Korea with 460,000+ members, conducted an event together to promote Bitcoin and QKC. Starting from Aug 14 for a month, anyone buying 10 USD worth of Bitcoin and QKC could apply to join the event. As for rewards, a total of 1 million QKC were rewarded to the top 115 participants. Bitman won the first place in QuarkChain’s guardian plan and the rewards were used for this event.
August 20:QuarkChain signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea Mobile Game Association and Korea Blockchain Contents Association
QuarkChain has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea Mobile Game Association and Korea Blockchain Contents Association for the development of the Korean blockchain game industry. Through this agreement, the three organizations will take the lead in applying blockchain to the content and game industry and work together to create an ecosystem.
August 22: First AMA for QuarkChain’s Korea community
QuarkChain conducted the first AMA for QuarkChain’s Korea community on Aug 22. QuarkChain CEO Dr.Zhou answered many questions from Korea community members.

August 29:Korea TV Interview of Jonathan
QuarkChain appeared on Korea TV show ”All That Coin” broadcast on August 29 (local time). Jonathan, head of Korea of QuarkChain introduced the company to the audience.

September 4–5: Upbit Developer Conference
Upbit Developer Conference was held in Incheon, Korea from September 4 to September 5, QuarkChain Korea team hosted a booth for two days at Upbit Developer Conference. Jonathan, head of Korea gave a speech under the title of ‘Opening New Doors’ introducing QuarkChain on the stage.
September 10:China-Korea Blockchain Ecology Summit Forum
On September 10, 2019 China-Korea Blockchain Ecology Summit Forum was held in Seoul, Korea. Jonathan attended a panel discussion at 2019 China-Korea Blockchain Ecology Summit Forum and shared his opinions about “solutions for the usage of Libra and tokens”
September 17: QuarkChain AMA in Binance Korea Telegram Group
On September 17th, QuarkChain had AMA with Binance in Binance Korea Telegram group. Jonathan introduced critical problems that the blockchain industry is facing and how QuarkChain solves these problems. Also, he introduced the PoSW mining event which both miners and token holders can receive big rewards.
September 19:QuarkChain Signed a MoU with K-FiNNeT
On September 19, QuarkChain and Korea FinTech Industry Association Network Alliance (K-FiNNeT) signed a Blockchain Big Bang Mutual Partnership Project Agreement (memorandum of understanding) for test-bed leading projects in Gwanghwamun Press Center, Seoul, Korea. In the future, both QuarkChain and K-FiNNeT have agreed to cooperate to foster blockchain unicorn groups. The purpose of this MoU is to resolve the connection security threats caused by vulnerabilities related to smart cities and the likes and to develop an innovative entrepreneur ecosystem.
September 19: QuarkChain CEO Qi Zhou was interviewed by Decenter in Seoul.
During the interview, Qi Zhou expressed that QuarkChain would try to use its sharding technology and its features of flexibility and scalability to survive in the competition of public chains.

September 22:Jonathan the head of Korea was interviewed by The Nodist
Jonathan was interviewed by The Nodist, a well-known blockchain media in Korea. He introduced QuarkChain and PoSW mining. Besides giving an overview of future plans, he also emphasized scalability, flexibility, and security of QuarkChain.
September 23:Korea Offline Meetup with Binance, Enjin, and HANBYOL LAW,LLC.
QuarkChain held a Binance Event in Seoul together with Enjin, Binance, and HANBYOL LAW,LLC. More than 180 people attended this event and Jonathan, head of Korea introduced QuarkChain technology such as PoSW, and PoSW Mining event.
September 27 — October 4: Korea Blockchain Week
Top leaders from industry companies and startups, financial services giants, and many other areas discussed the real and the virtual applications of blockchain technology. Jonathan, QuarkChain head of Korea together with the Korea team attended this event.
