With the development of QuarkChain’s token swap, ERC20 QKC will be gradually deprecated from circulation. For users who need to manage large amounts of QKC, they will need more secure wallets except for the mobile wallet and plug-in wallet. The hardware cold wallet is the best choice. In order to allow users to better manage their assets, we have reached a cooperation with CoolBitX, the well-known hardware wallet manufacturer. With the launch of QuarkChain’s mainnet 2.0 Bigbang, CoolBitX’s CoolWallet S will be able to support the storage and transfer of the mainnet QKC token.

The latest version of the QPocket wallet provides the integrated SDK to the wallet service providers via the CoolWallet S. It can fully support and connects to CoolWallet S hardware wallet, which improves the security of the entire network. CoolWallet S is designed as the same size as a credit card, which is easy to put into a purse. It uses a Bluetooth connection device to transmit the private key, saving the trouble of plugging in. As an offline cold wallet, it stores the private key in the security chip and never touches the Internet. It uses the military-level EAL5+ certified security chip to store Bitcoin, Ethereum, BCH, XRP, Litecoin, QKC, and all ERC20 tokens. It is suitable for long-term cryptocurrency holding and mobile storage, and is connected to mobile phones via Bluetooth, which is more flexible than USB connection, allowing users to manage and transfer their digital assets in the safest way anytime and anywhere.

The new version of QuarkChain mainnet will support multiple functions such as multi-native token auctions, transactions, and payments of the gas fee. It can also bring a friendlier and safer experience to the use of DeFi. The support of the hardware wallet further improves the QuarkChain mainnet, bringing new improvements to the usability and security of the entire network.

About CoolBitX and CoolWallet S

CoolBitX has been developing and operating security solutions for blockchain applications since 2014. In 2016, it launched the first generation of CoolWallet, which is the world’s first Bitcoin hardware wallet developed in the form of Bluetooth and smart cards. It looks like a credit card and is convenient to carry around and can be easily stored in a purse. In addition, It has a built-in electronic paper screen, Bluetooth, and lithium battery design. Through the display screen on the card, the user can clearly know the current operation process and the cryptocurrency balance. CoolBitX believes it can create a user-friendly and secure hardware wallet by combining these elements together.

CoolWallet S, which was released in 2018, is the second-generation that can support multiple cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Horizen (ZEN), QuarkChain(QKC) and all ERC20 tokens. CoolWallet series products use a credit card-type storage device to store the crypto asset owner’s private keys in a military-level security chip, and use Bluetooth as the connection between the mobile and the card. It allows users to use the most secure way to save and transfer digital assets. So far, there are about 150,000 copies sold worldwide. CoolWallet S also provides SDK technology for the wallet service providers to integrate by themselves. At present, it has completed integration with hot wallet service providers such as MyEtherWallet (MEW) and Qpocket, allowing users of hot wallets to enjoy convenience and security at the same time.
