Welcome to the 37th QuarkChain Bi-weekly Report for the period from July 26 to Aug 08. For the past two weeks, we announced plenty of news and attended many events.
Highlights:

1)Development Progresses

## Added
- Supported multi-native token interactions in EVM when programming smart contracts, including pre-compiled contracts for querying current token ID, creating new messages with specified token ID and enforcing token ID check with non-default transfer token
- Supported nightly build for blockchain history replay in parallel to make sure consensus data is consistent
- Supported showing extra PoSW information along with minor blocks

- Fixed EVM missing full shard key when creating contracts via CALL messages

2) News
1：QuarkChain Started Token Swap
Token swap officially started. QuarkChain will in the future provide a token swap took that can support the conversion from ERC20 token to mainnet token easily, and vice versa. The token swap steps and schedules may vary by each exchange.
2：QKC listed on Bithumb & 35 Million Airdrop Event
QKC was listed on Bithumb — the biggest exchange in Korea, and we are running ’35 Million Airdrop Event’ in order to celebrate the new listing. Airdrop event will last for 3 days. 3：QuarkChain Embarks Buyback $25 Million Program With Extend Lockup Period for 1 Billion QKC
To show the long-term faith of the project, QuarkChain decided to launch an up to $25 million USD equivalent QKC buyback program. QuarkChain will buy back at least $1 million QKC from the secondary market in the coming week. Up to $25 million equivalent QKC will be bought back within the next year for the purpose of ecosystem and community building. Meanwhile, we will postpone the unlock time of 1 billion QKC until June 2020.
3) Partnerships
QuarkChain Integrated Chainlink to Move Blockchain Applications Forward
QuarkChain, a high throughput and flexible sharding technology, integrated Chainlink’s leading oracle technology to create a better smart contract development experience for enterprises and developers. QuarkChain will create a better application of intelligent contracts for enterprises and individuals. Based on the collaboration, QuarkChain will popularize the blockchain technology to the public more quickly and create a whole set of the ecosystem.
4) Events
7/26 Speech at Georgia Institute of Technology
On July 26, QuarkChain founder and CEO Dr.Zhou visited Georgia Institute of Technology and gave a speech about “Blockchain Scalability: History, Present, and Future”. He introduced the blockchain trilemma and how QuarkChain put forward an excellent solution to blockchain trilemma, which was an important contribution to the future development of the industry.
7/26 Seminar on Science and Technology of Blockchain in China, Ning Bo
On July 26, QuarkChain Business Development Director Margaret Xie attended the blockchain seminar. She not only discussed the wide applications of blockchain technology with the attendees but also introduced how QuarkChain used its sharding technology, original Boson consensus and the multi-native token mechanism to overcome industrial difficulties, achieve blockchain technology innovation and launch applications.
7/30–7/31 AWS Global Beijing Summit
On July 30–31, QuarkChain Attended Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Beijing Summit. QuarkChain was one of the only two blockchain companies in attendance, the company impressed the participants by its high throughput capability(TPS) and its block-sharding customization. QuarkChain also attracted attention from multiple fields including manufacturing, system integration, smart devices, and enterprise management software.
8/6 AMA in Bithumb Global WeChat Group
On Aug 6th, QKC was listed on Bithumb Global exchange. QuarkChain CMO Anthurine introduced QuarkChain’s state sharding technology. Besides QuarkChain, there are many other projects that also use sharding technology as a solution to blockchain scalability, She explained the differences between QuarkChain and the others.
8/7 “MTN Token Plus” Korea TV show
Jonathan, head of Korea of QuarkChain appeared on Korea’s TV show “MTN Token Plus” live on 7th, August. He introduced QuarkChain‘s state sharding technology and outlined QuarkChain’s advantages of enterprise services.

8/20 POW’ER Global BlockChain Developers Conference
“POW’ER Global BlockChain Developers Conference” will invite 1500 frontline developers to participate in the discussion the trends and launch of new technologies such as the blockchain technology, digital economy, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things.
