Quarters kitchens are made for entertaining.

Co-living is when like-minded people come together in a purpose built environment to create an intentional community. That’s a bit of a mouthful but it’s basically what its about. Co-living is a way of meeting new people, creating a community and preserving the privacy of the individual. Unlike traditional shared houses or flats, in co-living buildings you pay one flat fee to your provider. This ensures you get all the perks of sharing the bills and netflix license, without the hassle and conflict of working out who owes who. Often co-living providers offer their community the chance to move from house to house, sometimes from country to country. Basically the intent is that you have more time to live well, live collectively and if you’re living with Quarters to #liveyourpassion.

You should care about co-living for a few reasons. Firstly, because it’s becoming more and more likely that someone you know will live this way. Secondly, because co-living buildings are springing up all over the world. Thirdly, because living in this way gives people the ability to access the kind of amenities they could never afford on their own, beautiful kitchens like the one above, yes please! When you pool your resources and share things (yes even toilet paper) they get cheaper and this means you have more money for fun.

Co-Living rooms are furnished, so you don’t need to worry about decorating and have community managers who support the community by organising events (these are free for members). At Quarters you have your own room, fully and considerately furnished, a shared furnished apartment with a kitchen and lounging area and the community spaces in the building. Some of our buildings have rooftop terraces, gyms, large communal kitchens and living rooms, gardens, and of course LAUNDRY FACILITIES!

In almost every major city now, there’s a group of people choosing to live together instead of living in studio apartments. As housing prices rise and cities become increasingly populated, co-living provides a solution for those living way above budget in way too small apartments.

Instead of being generation rent, Millennials are building generation co-living and we couldn’t be happier to be part of the revolution.
