Fish curry is a delicious and popular dish in many parts of the world, especially in coastal regions.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of fish fillets (use a firm-fleshed fish like tilapia, cod, or salmon)
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2–3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 2–3 green chilies, slit (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika (for color)
  • 1 can (400 ml) of coconut milk
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
