. . . A Poem of ‘Right’ or ‘Wrong’

Photo by Nathan Dumlao on Unsplash

If a person is so stupid or irresponsible
as to resist surrendering to The Jab. . .

then they deserve the shunning
they’re getting, right?

. . . But wait. . . I’m not Amish
. . . nor am I in Amish land.

How did I end up getting HERE?!

In all fairness to the Amish . . .
they firmly believe in what they believe
— and live accordingly with strict observance
to the consensus of their rules and regulations.

But is that what this free ‘outer world’ has as
the basis of its freedom for the choices made
by each and every person according to their
own inner authority?

Perhaps we should stop judging and condemning
according to our own personal dictates . . .
and seek to understand just what is their inner
authority that deserves such loyalty?!

We might be quite surprised!

Thank you for reading this little observation and response based on
multiple personal experiences of recent times!
