Fierce love is SHE who honors creative power in all its aspects. This honoring has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with internal empowerment. The kind of empowerment that does not deny truth when it flows freely through us. The kind of truth that frees as it flows. Ferocious love is the warrior/healer within us all.

Three archetypes of the Warrior/Healer Goddess, are the Celtic Goddess An Mor Rigan, the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet, and the Hindu Goddess Kali. What do they have in common besides an impressive arsenal? They heal first, harm only when HER power is taken for granted, and don’t suffer fools lightly {they take no shit}.

An Mor Rigan: Bringing up the Fire

The Sidhe (pronounced ‘shee’) are a race of beings that came from the stars. The Tuatha Dé Danann ("The Tribes of the goddess Danu") were the descendants of the mother-goddess Danu. They are a ‘mythical’ race of gods and heroes as well as druids and magicians, skilled in magic, poetry, science and art. The Celtic people believe this race lived before them, retreating into the hills and the inner worlds as patriarchal cultures invaded.

An Mor Rigan is one of the oldest of the Tuatha-Dé, and one of their most infamous Goddesses. Armored and armed, She brings death to those aspects of life that betray and harm us. She is an archetypal aspect…
