In the Clear Light of Truth

I don’t need to be big. I don’t need to be right. I don’t need people to affirm my position and opinions. I need truth to be clear, like crystal, like a bell, like a bonfire in the wilderness. All that is muddy and cloudy and confusing dissipates in the clear light of truth. The truth may hurt, but that’s never its intention. Truth heals, and points the way toward wholeness. If your truth is a hammer you use to bludgeon those you deem losers and idiots, it’s something else. It’s not truth. There are no losers, (but those who give up in the middle of the game may need some encouragement), The truth is, We Are All One. Spin it whichever way you like but the people you hate are in the boat with you. Damn them to save yourself? In the clear light of truth, Love leads, and those who follow, follow without fear, or hatred, or contempt. Imagine this new world, where there is only kindness . . .
