Journey into Light and Love
. . . A Poetic Trilogy
Once to every man and nation
comes a moment to decide. . .
“To decide what?”, you might ask.
Perhaps it is a moment of reckoning
— but then again, perhaps it is
a moment of readiness for making
a choice for a better way of life.
Or perhaps it is the choice
to respond to an inner calling
to carry out a special sacred work
. . . the call to bring light to the
children of God in the darkness
of night with a response of
confirming might. . .
“Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me. . .”
— and indeed, the answer is right.
The times we are in today . . .
these are the times of love and change
. . . the times of hope remembered
. . . the times of love, peace, and light.
So let’s throw away history’s anger. . .
and live and dream of love and peace
in a lovingly-joyful world of light!
May we begin the long-awaited journey
of change into a lighted New World
. . . a world of peace, joy, and love.
