The Lesson on repeat

Once upon a time (because the best stories start with these words), I used to believe that I could control My Life. That my effort, input, labor, moral compass, alphabetization skills were what held the fabric of My Universe together.

It took decades of wrong turns and dead ends before I began to see a few truths.

#1. I am not in control of anything. Furthermore, I am not responsible for anything/anyone past my immediate circle of influence. Even then — I do what I do and let go of the outcome. It is the attachment to said outcome which will cause me untold misery.

#2. Manifestation doesn’t have a direct correlation with events in My Life. I cannot manifest winning lottery ticket numbers. I cannot manifest my 2012 Camry into a Harley. If I pour energy into My Wish List For A Great Life — I miss out on the very blessings I already possess.

#3. The Universe knows what you need. She communicates All. The. Time. to us through our inner knowing, our intuition. We choose to ignore Her Best Advice For A Good Life and then bitch about our bad choices. It’s not Life that is unfair — Life is always neutral. We decide if we have ‘enough’ and when we do — miraculously — more is drawn to our higher vibration.
