Life is a story. Our story. We are each the writers, the editors, and the publishers of this tale.

Is this Life real? Is this Life just a prolonged Dreamtime? Does it even matter? We know our time here is limited and one day the world will exist without a single person who remembers us — remembers our story. We and everything we know will pass away, just like the generations of Humans before us. Does this make Life less precious? Or more so?

For me, each moment of Life is a gift. Illusion or reality — it is what it is. I am here with Humans to love. Perhaps that is the only real thing in this world — our love for each other. And for me, it’s enough. More than enough to sustain me.

What story are you writing with your life? Is it a drama? Or perhaps it’s a romance? Personally, I’m writing a soul-searching epic journey about a grandmother who rediscovers her inner child.

However different our stories may seem, the ending is always the same.

The hero dies. There is no happily-ever-after. There is only happily-right-now.

Don’t waste it.

Namaste.

“Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day’s useless energy is spent
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one;
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young

Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
Red is grey is yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion” — The Moody Blues: The Late Lament
