So Many Timelines

And so few results

I raked through so many timelines,
I looked for You behind so many masks
You were hidden behind so many forms.

Every time I got a brief glow from You
Like a flash from a flotsam on the swell
I though I’d stand on the promised land.

Sometimes I feel discouraged
to walk among the shards of mirror
Time lasts too long, too slow.
