She lost her baby, yet she sings, sweet Robin. I lost my mother and stopped singing. No, before that, even. Had to learn, not how but why it’s necessary to go on singing. There are days when no one’s listening. There are those who won’t appreciate your song. There are better singers with better voices. Sing anyway. The song you sing can only be sung by you. Know that it’s beautiful.
