You’re here, trapped in this moment of absolute stillness. The wind died; the leaves ceased to rustle. Everything stopped. In these frozen seconds, I caught your gaze. Your eyes against the moonlight are like a painted canvas, reflecting your inner world through that dim, lifeless stare. Your expression revealed what I felt in my heart.

Inexpressible colors, indescribable shapes dancing in your eyes. I tried to understand, to predict the meaning behind the gaze which was strong and defensive. You’re staring out into the void, bearing weight too heavy to utter, too complex to dissect. With every long, deep audible breath you conveyed sorrow and despair through a silent moan, almost disclosing what you’re hiding inside.

Your eyes glisten in the dark with hues that tell tales of struggle too difficult to put into words. Behind the icy stare was a mountain of instability. You’re locked deep in your mind, in a distance spanning space and time. Going further and deeper beyond the horizon, out of touch with reality, seeking and finding, unsure however what you’re looking for; or whom?

The deeper you go, the more reclusive you become. You remained frozen, lost in the emptiness of…
