A Love that Knows No Bounds
Below is a message from Darren, a CLF member from Australia. The Church of the Larger Fellowship provides a place for those who seek a welcoming community regardless of geographical location. Over the next few days we will be highlighting stories from our members around the world and here in the United States who have found their faith home with the CLF. Read the message from Darren below.

Over the years, I’ve reached out and talked with Rev. Meg about religious liberty issues, pushy fundamentalist people who wanted to save me, and the complicated issues that arise for an openly gay man who wants to marry and raise a family in Australia.
My partner Nigel and I found a way to bring our beloved child into our family, and sent Meg baby photos. We could hear her cheers from across continents. It has been great to have the support of the Church of the Larger Fellowship, and to know that I could reach out, as a gay man, and be met with absolute and total support.

And now, momentous change has come to my country. Australia has finally joined 25 other countries which allow same sex couples to legally marry. Effective in January of 2018, Nigel and I will be allowed to enjoy full equality with our heterosexual neighbors and relatives.
As the photos show, we are ecstatic. And we’re thrilled to include our spiritual community around the world in our joy and celebration. We don’t take it for granted that we’ve had a place to go that always knew our love as a gift, and affirmed that homophobia, not homosexuality, is a sin!
Love can be made real through your generous gift to CLF today. We need your support now more than ever as CLF moves through our ever changing world. Can you give a gift today to honor Darren and his family? Any gift of any amount will be gratefully accepted at http://www.clfuu.org/love-made-real. Thank you to our generous donors who have given already — we are so grateful for your support.
