Star Trails and Perseid Media Shower Over Mount Hood

For the month of November, a number of us are sharing daily blessings as a spiritual practice. Please join us, using #CLFBlessings!

Here are some that started the month:

Blessed are friends who course-correct you. Tell you that you have spinach in your teeth, your hair looks weird, not to wear that. Who tell you that the word you used is hurtful, that the idea you shared was steeped in oppression, that the action you took was counterproductive. Who ask the hard questions, who care more about your consciousness than your defensiveness, who still love you at the end of long hard days.#clfblessings from Meg Riley

Blessings be upon the coffee
growers
pickers
sorters
shippers
roasters
grocers
and upon Mr. Coffee himself,
for as it is written, Hebrews.

#CLFBlessings from Kelli Clement

Blessings and gratitude for the therapists who hold space for naming, right-sizing, normalizing and understanding patterns of behavior, who offer diverse tools and techniques for rerouting deeply grooved ancient pathways in the brain, who advocate for mental health in a world that too often doesn’t give a shit about this part of our wellbeing. #CLFblessings from Terri Burnor

Small morning routines are a blessing to me. Waking in a house that is whole and safe, in a family that knows peace and laughter. Being boisterously welcomed by a dog. And sharing the first morning cup of coffee with someone I love. #CLFblessings from Ann Burns

The blessing of children who believe in magic,
who hold the key to transformation in tiny hands
and wake from moonlit dreams in mid-flight
#clfblessings from Jo-Anne Elder

Bless the autumn breeze that gently pushes us into communities of warmth and strength #CLFBlessings from Lyn Cox

There are so many more! Just use the hashtag #clfblessings and enjoy a shower of blessings in the evening! I’ll close with one more of my own, in honor of the upcoming full moon:

Blessed is the full moon, shining over factory and mountain, beach and prison, homes of every kind. Offering its big round light to all who look up into the sky, cycling around month after month, allowing us to know our own gravity, our lives rolling in and out like the tides. #clfblessings from Meg Riley
