The silence is deafening as explosive new evidence in the domestic violence case against Marvel actor, Jonathan Michael Majors was presented in the latest court date. The world was shocked, when the 33-year-old Yale Graduate and co-star of Creed III was arrested on March 25 by the New York Police Department after officers were called to an apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.

Early reports showed that Jabbari called police alleging she had been assaulted by Majors who faced court that same evening. However, new evidence is showing that may have been a lie. Video Footage of the alleged victim Grace Jabbari shows her partying after accusing Majors of “causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear”. It is also alleged that Majors put his hands on her neck “causing bruising and substantial pain.”

Grace is clearly seen in the footage drinking, dancing, and laughing with friends. She is using her right hand without issue, and showing no signs of an assault. This case triggers a disturbing echo of the past, a history littered with instances where Black men have been stigmatized and vilified based solely on accusations, with white women’s tears frequently acting as the jury and…
