In order for the illustration work to be finalized there are still a few things to do. See below the order and specifics of changes that still need to be effected —
a) Refine final corrections to be made
b) Create specific layers for objects to be animated
c) Use the dinosaur mouth technique for specific elements
Each of our 3 illustrations still need to have these changes made before they are ready to be animated in our VR environment in After Effects.
See below requirement details for each of the 3 illustrations:
1) 1850's
Drawing Corrections to be made:
- redraw arm and ‘mask’ to be closer to pregnant lady’s face
Separate layers for animation:
- arm and mask
- nurse’s tray
Make 2 Separate drawings for:
- Eyes
2) Pre-Anesthesia
Drawing Corrections to be made:
- add leg props/foot straps
- change ‘helpers’ hands to look like they are pushing the patient forward.
Separate layers for animation:
- arm with saw (1 layer)
- the whole writhing man (except his mouth)
Make 2 Separate drawings for:
- writhing man’s screaming mouth
3) 1805
Drawing Corrections to be made:
- redraw ‘pouring bottle’ sideways to show liquid coming out clearer
- add bubbles
Seperate layers for animation:
- candle flames
- liquids and bubbles on table
- liquid in Morpheus’ hand
- His eyebrows
Make 2 Seperate drawings for:
- candle flames
- liquids and bubbles on table
- liquid in Morpheus’ hand
- His eyebrows
All of these done, means we can go ahead and import the layers and start animating
