Netflix and chill can be a great first date…if you like the right movies.
You would think the prospect of having a good romp should be enough, but it turns out the movie portion of the equation may be more important than you think. According to a survey of 5,000 people conducted by Tubi, 57% said they enjoy a Netflix and chill first date, however, 45% of them also said the movie choice can put a damper on their lust — and may even be a relationship deal breaker.
So what movies are most likely to ensure that you get down and dirty in the bedroom? The most popular movie franchises among those surveyed were John Wick (31%), Avengers/Marvel Cinematic Universe (26%), and The Super Mario Bros. Movie (24%).
