One of my hottest sex scenes was inspired by a murder.
I always say you can get inspiration from anywhere, and in that case, a high-profile murder trial made a light bulb go off in my head. A woman was on trial for killing her lover, and many salacious details came out about the couple’s sex life. When I heard a certain piece of testimony, I couldn’t resist using that particular sex act in a story I was working on. And it was hot.
That story helped me a lot more than it helped her. She was convicted and is still in prison.
