Vaginal dryness is more common than you may think.
In fact, according to a survey of 2,000 people by Durex, half report that they experience painful sex because of vaginal dryness and although this is a normal occurrence, about 30% of them feel uncomfortable discussing it with their partner.
In fact, 27% of women say they would rather just suffer through the pain than talk to their partner about their vaginal dryness. They also won’t talk about using lube — even though most (90%) say it has alleviated their pain.
Luckily, these women aren’t necessarily keeping schtum about their experiences entirely. While it’s unfortunate they don’t feel comfortable talking to their partner, women may speak to their friends (34%) or even their mother (20%) about the problem.
