You probably shouldn’t try to fuck like a porn star, but can you kiss like a movie star?
According to William Cane, author of Kiss Like a Star: Smooching Secrets from the Silver Screen, you can…and you should.
“One of the most fun things you can do is when you’re watching a romantic movie with your partner, you can play a game where you kiss when the actors kiss,” Cane told me. “That can be a fun way to try the different types of techniques you might see.”
But remember, movies are highly stylized — from scripts to direction to editing — so you’re unlikely to do it exactly the way you saw it on the screen. Give yourself, and your partner, some grace if your kissing exercise doesn’t feel the way you think it looked.
