Our client and their project

Our customer is a recruitment agency working with customers and candidates from different industries. They have their own job site where they post the vacancies from their customers and process the incoming job applications from the candidates — this is one of their hiring channels.

Recently, they decided to expand the functionality of their product by adding live communication functionality:

  • Once the candidate uploads the CV, the recruiter handling this vacancy gets a notification and can proceed with the further conversation right on the website.
  • The parties can set up a brief audio or video call to get acquainted closer. This helps the recruiters to filter out the irrelevant candidates before the actual job interview stage.

The work during the crisis

The crisis and social isolation caused significant changes in the job market of their country — many businesses lost their income and don’t have an opportunity to pay the salary to their workers, many people lost their jobs.

Temporary work

At the same time, a load of groceries, delivery services increased, and they currently need more workforce. Under these conditions, our clients decided to create a separate website section for temporary jobs for people that lost work. With QuickBlox, they added a chatting interface connecting the candidate directly with their customer. The representatives of our customers do not mediate between the companies and candidates, but only solve the organizational; issues, if there is a need.

Remote work

Another change in the job market is the increasing demand for remote employees. To connect the customer with the potential worker, our customers decided to launch another website section for freelance & remote work only. With QuickBlox, they configured chatting functionality connecting the customers with the remote workers. Apart from publishing the vacancies and tasks, it allows to fully handle the working communication between the customer and freelancer.
