HackerRank’s Home Screen

What is HackerRank?

“Join over 7 million developers. Practice coding, prepare for interviews, and get hired.”

“HackerRank is a place where programmers from all over the world come together to solve problems in a wide range of Computer Science domains such as algorithms, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, as well as to practice different programming paradigms like functional programming.”

HackerRank is like Sudoku on extreme level, but instead of numbers it is an alien language (Java, Python, Ruby…).

HackerRank has helped me in so many ways unimaginable. I have learned a lot about how most companies conduct interviews. Whether it is a technical assessment or whiteboard interview, HackerRank takes your skills to the next level. It tests the ability of extreme logic processing with programming fundamentals.

They over a large variety of languages that you can practice and compete. Yes compete, HackerRank actually gives you a rank! HackerRank also has hackathons to compete for cash prizes.

The only way to get good at HackerRank, is to do HackerRank over and over again. Until your brain goes into extreme exhaustion, and you wake up with a sore brain.

Tip: Most companies technical assessments are HackerRank questions.
