NEW Chain Onboarding: Stargaze on Quicksilver’s Liquid Staking Protocol

The Quicksilver team is excited to announce that Stargaze is onboarding onto the Quicksilver protocol!

$STARS holders will now be able to use the Quicksilver protocol to liquid stake their $STARS and receive qSTARS.

This article will provide a quick introduction to Stargaze and why we are excited for $STARS holders to mint qSTARS and join the Quicksilver community.

Meet Stargaze

Stargaze is a consumer app chain focused on NFTs for Cosmos. It released its NFT launchpad in March 2022 & marketplace in May 2022; in the first 7 months, presented an average monthly trading volume of ~$535,000. The chain celebrated $8M in total mint volume in 2022.

It also offers Stargaze Names, an identity service that maps a Cosmos wallet to a custom name on every IBC-enabled chain. Stargaze Names are integrated into the Stargaze website to make the experience of trading/hodling an NFT more personal and fun.

Stargaze is a champion of decentralization. It won 2022’s most decentralized chain award at Cosmoverse. It is Cosmwasm enabled and governance permissioned.

The team has developed the core Launchpad, Marketplace, and Stargaze Names contracts while ecosystem developers have contributed Pegasus, Public Works, and Badges.

The $STARS Token

$STARS is the ecosystem token of Stargaze. It allows users to buy NFTs, buy .stars names, engage in governance, secure Stargaze network by staking, and more. As of this writing, the deepest liquidity for $STARS swaps is located on Osmosis.
