Stargaze has onboarded onto the Quicksilver protocol! $STARS holders will now be able to use the Quicksilver protocol to liquid stake their $STARS and receive qSTARS. This article includes a video and a step-by-step guide for staking $STARS on Quicksilver.

How to Stake $STARS on Quicksilver Protocol

Step 1: Connect Wallet

Go to https://app.quicksilver.zone/ and click CONNECT WALLET. Connect your Keplr or Ledger wallet to the protocol.

Step 2: Select Network

Use the network dropdown on the top right to select Stargaze. The protocol will show you your wallet address and then how many $STARS and qSTARS you have. Click STAKE.

Step 3: Select Validators from the Unrestricted Set

The protocol will provide you with a list of validators. Quicksilver is different from most liquid staking protocols because it offers an unrestricted validator set, meaning there is NO whitelist of validators. All validators are available to signal your intent for the protocol to stake on your behalf.

You can choose up to 8 validators where you would like your stake to be delegated after the signalling intent feature is live in Q1 2023.

Before the feature goes live, your stake will be evenly distributed among all validators active on all chains supported by the protocol.

Step 4: Distribute Stake

Write the total amount of $STARS you would like to stake. Use the sliders to determine the percent of your stake you would like each validator to receive after the signaling intent feature goes live in Q1 2023.

Please keep in mind: Before signaling intent goes live, your stake will be evenly distributed among all validators active on all chains supported by the protocol.
