For a while, this "carpeted car" was displayed on a wheeled platform out here in my neighborhood about a block away from my apartment. Now, in San Francisco, my hometown, oddities such as this are normal. Most people walk by without even a glance. Though in this neighborhood it is quite curious. I could understand if it were out in the Haight Ashbury area as it would be a tourist attraction. What is very unusual is that it has not moved or left for weeks.
I’m not sure if it’s a car, boat, or what but it does look comfy being covered in carpeting. However, cleaning it must be a pain.
