MuddyUm is not a new publication to me. I’ve been around the Medium block now a minute or so and I have a few Medium friends who publish frequently on the site — hi, Medium friends!
Back in my long-lost writing past, I identified somewhat as a humor writer, so I tend to gravitate toward humor publications (in addition to essays and memoirs) to find my personal reading material. I have my favorites on this platform and MuddyUm is right up there with them.
Full disclosure: I can’t believe I’m admitting this to the world, but I was today years old when I realized MuddyUm is a take on the word Medium. I mean, duh. Slap me on the ass and call me Betty.
And also, time to retire, “I was today years old…” For the love of crackers.
