At Quidli, our mission is to expand the utility of crypto directly into the apps and tools everyone uses, which is why we started by building integrations on Discord and Slack. And in the last few months, we’ve pushed several updates that significantly improve user experience while also continuing to progressively orient towards decentralization.

Active users may already be aware of the updates, but we’ve been slow on our side to openly announce the latest new features and improvements 😅 So we’ve prepared this post to highlight some of the more prominent and useful updates we’ve made since end of Q2 to now.

Sign-in with Ethereum (SIWE)

We’re most excited about first major step towards decentralization since we started building — enabling account creation using Ethereum wallets. As increasingly more Quidli users are crypto saavy/native, we decided it’s time to extend more of the application onchain with “Sign-In with Ethereum,” also referred to as SIWE.

SIWE helps us to further empower users to take control over their accounts and assets by enabling them to use their Ethereum addresses to connect to and access Quidli. You’re no longer required to manage sign-in credentials, you can now simply can access your account with a single onchain signature to verify you’re the owner of the associated Ethereum wallet.

Whether you’re an existing user or a new one, SIWE offers a streamlined and secure gateway to all that Quidli has to offer, on- and offchain.

Wallet address book

Do you find yourself sending tokens to one or more of the same external wallet addresses every time you transfer tokens outside of Quidli? Perhaps it’s to your crypto exchange or maybe it’s your favorite hot wallet for taking custody of tokens. Regardless, we’ve not made it easier for you to simply save wallet addresses you regularly use so you no longer have to find, copy and paste them each time.

Repeat transactions

On a similar note, if you’re repeatedly sending token rewards to the same group members for the same token and token amounts, we’ve made it easier for you to redo that transaction with the click of a button.

Head to your History page in the web app and hit the Repeat button on the right to queue up the same transaction details (recipient, token, and amount) for you to confirm to send again. There’s no need to waste time filling out the same information any more.

Improved bounty displays

Bounty creation and distribution have been huge unlocks for Quidli users who need more customization and programmability in their token reward activities. So we’ve worked on improving the UI/UX to make the process more seamless across all integrations — Discord, Slack and web app.

Specific improvements include:

  • Adding list of bounty participants for easy review directly in app UI
  • Fixing bounty details like Title in creation modal
  • Displaying Twitter/X based bounty participants by Twitter handles
  • Faster updates on Active & Expired bounties for prospective participants

And more to come

We’ve also got a few more new features on deck that we’re excited to be releasing soon. Are you in DevRel and looking to specifically incentivize developer engagement and contributions? Keep checking in with us over the next month for something we’ve got especially for you 💪

And if you’re an active Quidli user and have workflow and or integration needs in mind , reach out to let us know what you’re thinking about!
