About XDC Network

About XDC token
XDC is the native token of the XDC Network, serving as a means of exchange for transactions and smart contract execution on the network.
XDC is required to access the XDC Network (to perform actions such as the aforementioned smart contract execution, transaction fee payments, and masternode staking) as well as applications on the network. As the network uses a delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, stakers earn rewards for helping to secure the network and validating transactions.
Quidli x XDC Network
With support from the XDC Foundation, we’ve made an initial light integration of the XDC Network to Quidli and have added XDC as an option to send and share across our suite of integrations. This means XDC is now available on our web app and on Discord, Slack, and Telegram, web; as well as can be offered as rewards for actions on X/Twitter and GitHub.
It’s important to note that the XDC supported on Quidli is native to the Layer 1 XDC Network main net and is not on an ERC20 on Ethereum.
