Welcome to Quids!
Quids is a little Mac app to show your bank feed on your desktop; each one of your transactions in real time.
There are plenty of personal finance apps on the Mac, but we wanted to build a forward-looking app that ties directly into your bank accounts, giving you realtime access to your account activity, with a minimal interface focused on transactions.
With fintech really taking off and the emergence of app-based banking, we’re now in an age where banks operate as startups, embracing developers with API access out of the gate.
It’s a good time for a small development team to build an app off the back of this, and deliver a streamlined, intuitive and elegant experience for banking on the Mac. That’s what we’re doing, and that’s what Quids is going to be.
Right now we’re actively developing the app and integrating our initial features tightly with Mondo, though as we see more API-friendly banks startup we’ll be moving to support them too.
For now we’re keeping our beta private with a handful of users, but we’ll begin a public beta in the near future. 😎
