I started my Own Publication (thank you to those 16 writers)

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to share with you a new writing community I just launched on Medium called Quill and Ink.

I want to say thank you to the writer who is already into it.

I started it just a couple of days ago because I wanted to create a supportive place for writers to showcase their work, get feedback, and connect with others.

So I made this super easy application process where you basically just have to follow my publication and then leave a comment or shoot me an email saying you want to join.

Um, I’m accepting writers of all levels, from total beginners to experienced writers.

I don’t care how much experience you have, I just want to nurture creativity, you know?

But I do ask that the stories submitted be less than 600 words since I’m trying to build a publication focused on flash fiction and short stories.

Oh, and I should also mention, that no AI-generated content is allowed, please!

I really want to showcase the talents of human writers.

Topics Accepted and Guidelines

Alright, so once you become part of the community, you’ll have lots of creative freedom in terms of topics.

Seriously, write about whatever niche subject you love — as long as it’s not offensive content. I’m trying to cultivate a positive, inclusive environment here. But yeah, besides that, go wild with your passions!

Hmm, what else? Here are a few quick guidelines:

1. Write about whatever you’re interested in!
2. Dig into those unique niche topics.
3. Just be kind — no offensive stuff allowed.

Benefits of Joining

Okay, so why should you join Quill and Ink? Well, there are so many benefits!

You can get more eyeballs on your stories and gain a wider audience. I’ll work hard to promote my writers too! And I’ll provide feedback to help you improve. Plus you can connect and collaborate with other writers.

I really want Quill and Ink to feel like a warm, tight-knit community where we support each other’s growth.

My goal is to nurture writers, whether you’re just starting out or have been writing for years. I want this to be a space for you to flourish.
