Giving Importance to the Quran — A Warning.

Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah, who made darknesses and light.

وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

He made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

He is the source of all light and all guidance.

يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاء

Allah guides to His light whom He wills.

اللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۖ

Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light.

وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُورًا فَمَا لَهُ مِن نُّورٍ
And he to whom Allah has not granted light — for him there is no light.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا
يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا

O you who believe, fear Allah, and speak in straightforward words. Allah will correct your deeds for you, and forgive your sins for you. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger achieves a great success.

We are in a month when Quran was sent down.

The Quran is not just a good book. Like its good to read, but if we ignore it no problem.

Not paying attention to the Quran can get us in deep problem.

Allah describes a person, blind, on judgement day. Blind when he could once see.

قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِي أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا
He will say, “My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?”

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَىٰ

[ Allah ] will say, “Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten.”

The Quran is a proof for you or against you.

Pay attention to the Quran. Take is seriously. Do not ignore it. There is still time.

Seek Allah’s forgiveness. He is the Most Forgiving, the Always Merciful.

Alhamdulillah revealer of the book. Sender of rain. Undefeatable in power. Glorified by the thunder.

وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ
And the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him — and the angels [as well] from fear of Him — a

وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
And if they had believed and feared Allah , then the reward from Allah would have been [far] better, if they only knew.

The Quran brings life. It brings healing. Mercy. Guidance. Light.

وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

We have revealed to you the Book as an explanation of all things, a guide, a mercy, and good news for those who ˹fully˺ submit.

We need to read the Quran, understand it, act upon it, be connected to it. We need to give Quran time and priority. We need to spend time learning its meaning and thinking upon the verses.

May Allah bless you and me with the noble Quran, and make us people of His noble book.
