In Quarantine for 14 Days
“And perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you”.
In the name of the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful Allah
I felt very happy yesterday. The walk along with other things made my day. Today I received this text of having to quarantine for 14 days. I am sad I won’t be able to do the walk outside for these days. But subhanallah I am grateful to Allah for I know in His plan there is wisdom, in His guidance there is protection, in His knowledge there is no flaw.
My Lord neither errs nor forgets. (20:52)
And Allah Knows, while you know not. (2:232)
And perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. (2:216)
And those are the days (of varying conditions) we interchange among mankind. (3:140)
True happiness lies in contentment is whatever comes, from Allah, for indeed it is all good.
Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah, for the day must turn into night, and conditions must change, and in each there is a lesson and benefit.
And everything with Him is by due measure. (13:8)
Allah turns about the night and the day. Indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision.(24:44)
He gave us sadness so we returned back to Him, and He gave us joy so we thanked Him. And He took away from us so we prayed to Him, and He put us down so we humbled ourselves. He elevated us so we served His religion, and He enriched us so we gave in charity. He sufficed us so we became content, and He surprised us so we became happy.
Thus are the days of life of the world. And indeed the world is sweet and green. But the hereafter is better and more lasting.
Nay you prefer the worldly life, While the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Surely this is in the earliest Scrolls, The Scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa. (87:16–19)
And indeed what is coming is better than has gone by, if you are truly of the believers.
Peace be upon the Messengers. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
