Ramadan — the Month of Power
“And to proclaim Allah’s greatness for guiding you, and perhaps
you will be grateful.”
Alhamdulilla, praise to Allah, who knows the number of everything.
He has counted all things in number.
Praise to Allah, who hears and sees everything.
Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven.
Blessed is Your name, High is Your Majesty, there is no god but You.
Dear Muslims, fear Allah.
Indeed, the God-fearing will be among gardens and rivers,
In a seat of truth near a Powerful King.
Imagine one person saying to another: “Why do you guys fast. You starve yourself in the day, and you sleep deprive yourself at night. Does God want you to be weak?”
Ramadan is a powerful month. It is a month of training that makes us powerful. Strong.
Prescribed upon you is fasting as it was prescribed upon those before you that you may attain taqwa (God-fearliness).
Fasting (hopefully) will help us attain taqwa. God consciousness. This makes us stronger.
Our heart becomes stronger. We gain power over our nafs.
In this training month, the rebellious devils are chained.
Whom Allah has cursed. And he had said, “I will surely take from among Your servants an appointed portion.
With devils chained, this helps people be stronger by doing more good. We get stronger in the battle of good versus evil. So we may be with the good and defeat our evil and the evil around us.
Ramadan is the month of Quran. The ummah gets connected with the Quran more in this month than any other time. This makes us stronger.
And indeed, it is a strong Book.
Make good use of your Ramadan. So you may become stronger.
Alhamdulillah, who blessed us with the Quran. And made us witness another Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah.
And to Him is praise in the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.
My dears, fear Allah.
And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.
Ramadan teaches us how strong we can be!
As we engage in worship, our sins will be forgiven. All our sins.
Whoever stands (prays) in Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, all his part sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari)
Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, all his part sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands (prays in) laylatul qadr out of faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari)
We need to make good use of our Ramadan. This can be done by fasting, and attending taraweeh prayers, and reading Quran, and making dua.
In the battle of good versus evil, we need the strength, so we may win.

O Allah accept from us, You are the hearing, the knowing.
O Allah, free us from the hellfire. If you have decreed it for us, remove it.
O Allah make us reach laylatul qadr.
Indeed, Allah commands justice, good conduct, as well as giving to close relatives. He forbids indecency, bad conduct, and aggression. He instructs you so perhaps you will be mindful.
Establish salah.
