I’m super excited to announce the presence of QForest on Medium — and to share with you what we’ve been working on since late last year.

A community for everyone

QForest started as a student organization at PES University, Bangalore, India, but has since evolved into a hub for quantum computational activity, hosting workshops on quantum programming, talks from quantum computation scientists and security specialists, and supporting research efforts within quantum computing.

The backbone of QForest is exploration — of exciting, new technologies, and using them to push the boundaries of what we think is possible. We want to give everyone the ability to go down the quantum road, and with QVillage, our latest project, we aim to do just that.

The future of computing, here on Medium

QVillage is set to be the a hub for all things quantum, with a website, a quantum programming tutorial collection, and other even cooler things in the pipeline, and we’re starting right here on Medium.

The team behind QVillage will be putting out articles every week to get you up to speed with quantum computing — follow us here to make sure you don’t miss anything. In case you have questions, drop us an email at pes.qforest@gmail.com.

We’re extremely proud of how much QForest has grown, but we know we can always do better: let us know what you love, and what doesn’t work for you: we’re listening.
