I clearly remember failing a test in fourth grade, which I pitifully had to get signed by my mom. I was disappointed, and then it hit me: “Forget school. I’m a businessman.” I never prioritized school; I honed my skills, learned to sell, and concentrated on what made me happy. The college “brand” will eventually collapse. Parental pressure isn’t a good reason to acquire enormous college debt, which is also a bad idea if you want to become an entrepreneur. You get good at entrepreneurship by doing; plus, there are endless free ways to learn about business. Even if you do want a job, many companies don’t require a degree — including Google, Apple, and VaynerMedia. Ultimately, the decision is about whether a degree will put you in the best position to reach your personal goals, and that’s only true in rare cases these days. Gary Vaynerchuk, founder and CEO of VaynerX; five-time New York Times bestselling author of “Crushing It!”

Debate degrees VS Skills is in currency nowadays and ultimately we can see skills are winning in all aspects. We collect our degrees after years of school and college education but panic strikes when we find ourselves jobless! Well, the truth is that we don’t need a college degree if we have skills, ambition and a big plan.

The value of something is shown by demand: Imagine 23 lakh candidates (including 2.22 lakh engineers and 255 PhD holders) applied for the 368 vacant peon posts in Uttar Pradesh recently. : — an article from Times of India.

At Qwick Start, we believe that dropping out of college and having no degree doesn’t mean you’re giving up; you’re moving forward. We believe that person should never feel guilty for parting ways with something that makes him gloomy. A successful career is directly proportional to heavy degrees is so old school thought. As a student, you will always have that window of “magical skills” that will reassure you of a bright career with the least emotional panic. We at Qwick Start, are very much aware that contrary to trendy belief (and by popular I mean mostly society’s), you’re not packing in your studies to become a full-time couch potato. For making you market-ready we have designed a skill learning platform where you can learn, experiment, educate yourself. Don’t forget to check it out!

Well, coming back to topic there is no denial that a College/ University degree can be a vital gateway at various stages of life but does a college degree define your level of intelligence and talent?

Absolutely not!

There are many renowned millionaires and even BILLIONAIRE college dropouts whose stories always give positive hope and make us realize one can do wonders and he doesn’t require a piece of paper to justify his capability. Scroll down and enjoy this informative read:

Bill Gates

Who doesn’t know him? The word ‘Richest” is a synonym for “Bill gates”. We all dream of his life but do you know he dropped out of Harvard to focus on Microsoft full-time. No doubt, he may have had the most intelligent computer software the world had ever seen up his sleeve, but still, he dropped out and gave more preference to his creativity over the degree and today he is an inspiration to many.

Mark Zuckerberg

Do I need to introduce him? Be it sad or excitement he is always emotionally connected with us through Facebook. We spend about a half-day on his social platform liking, sharing and meme-lolling our lives away. Zuckerberg also gave priority to his dreams instead of degrees. He dropped out of Harvard to move to Silicon Valley and start his Facebook Empire. Now don’t forget to share our blog on Facebook.

Lady GAGA

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, clearly wasn’t gaga about Uni (oh, lol), having dropped out of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She said goodbye to degree to focus on her music career. Thanks for her decision as her music makes us vivacious all the time.

Oprah

How many of you are afraid of her strongest and outspoken persona? Even famous celebs are afraid to go for her shows. She had a full scholarship to Tennessee State to study Communications. With only one credit left to graduate, Oprah found her calling and left to pursue her career in media.

Steve Jobs

Ahh! The coolest example ever. This personality is another extremely clever tech giant among our college dropouts. He attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon. As he couldn’t afford tuition, his time at Reed was cut short. Later Steve accepted that it was Reed’s calligraphy course that inspired the beautiful typography of the first Apple Macintosh computer.

There is no doubt and I am going to say it loud that’s a key selling point for Reed’s College today.

Every year number of students gets graduated but the majority of them are said to be unemployable. This is primarily because they are not well skilled which is important in the job industry to get employed.

By having the motivation read one can easily get the importance of skills and creativity. Once you will have skills with proper qualifications and good self-confidence you will go to a higher position. A degree is a means to get a job in a company or firm but it requires skill to do the job properly.

The ideal is a good combination of both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding, and I believe this is better.

NEVER give up

So there you have it, college dropouts. Solid evidence that you can drop out of your course and still become one of the most successful individuals on the PLANET!

You should not fill your CV with the list of college degrees you managed to get, but with the list of skills, you managed to acquire. This is what your interviewer will look at: the skills section, not the education section. So, make sure it’s not empty.

We are not encouraging you to say goodbye to your education but yes if you’re determined to be qualified for your dream job sooner rather than later, check out Qwick Start and get way to certified courses under professional mentors.
