Qwikwire announces Jesse Manalansan as its new CTO
Qwikwire, winner for Best Fintech Startup in the 2017 ASEAN Ricebowl Startup Awards, and Asia’s leading cross-border payments platform for Property Developers, continues to build its organization as Ray Refundo announces Jesse Manalansan, as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer.
Before even finishing his Degree in Information Technology specializing in Data Management at Mapua University in Makati in 2016, Manalansan has been with Qwikwire and has continuously developed his expertise of the ins and outs of the company and the platform, and has contributed immensely to developing the product to what it is now.
Jesse’s appointment followed after former CTO, Paolo Samontanez decided to dedicate his time to his own multi-awarded startup Onewatt , now based in Europe.
“I am passionate when it comes to learning techniques and integration of payments and financial technology as a whole. I am also driven to find existing technologies and derive ideas that will potentially generate immense products” says Manalansan.
Jesse continues a successful career with Qwikwire and is set to achieve greater heights as he will be tasked to provide technical direction and guidance to the tech team and help the company grow faster.

The growth of the company has been unstoppable. For 2018 alone, Qwikwire is set to hit 20 Million USD worth of transaction volume, and with AQWIRE as its newest project, the team has been hiring new professionals and has been keen in human resource development to empower its current employees to help facilitate its success.
