Qwikwire has a new COO? Meet Jacquiline Romorosa
Qwikwire continues to strengthen its team and turn teammates into leaders as Ray Refundo, Qwikwire CEO, announces the company’s new Chief Operating Officer: Jacqui Romorosa!
The announcement came 3 weeks after Jesse took the helm of the tech team, after former CTO, Paolo, stepped down to focus on his European based start-up.
The timing couldn’t have been better as well, as more and more clients and partners are being on-boarded on Qwikwire, the need for somebody to oversee the operations and keep everybody in-check is becoming more and more apparent. And there’s nobody on the team better equipped and capable of handling the task other than Jacqui.
The very definition of girl-boss, Jacqui exudes confidence and the wit to handle what is pre-dominantly a male-oriented team. As one of the first female hires of the company, Jacqui quickly climbed up the ranks, starting out as a Senior Business Development Officer to Director and Head of AQWIRE and now as the Chief Operating Officer.
As the former Director and Head of AQWIRE, Jacqui oversaw all the aspects of the project and worked with all relevant departments, highlighting her flexibility to work with contrasting personalities while keeping everybody motivated to do their tasks on time and with the highest quality.
Through her leadership, the team has accomplished its goals and milestones eg.: Launch of the AQWIRE MVP, on-boarding of property developers (2 of which are internationally renowned), producing 17 original videos and participating in more than 30 events both locally and internationally.

Backed-up by 10 years of working experience in various fields like Sales and Business Development, Finance and Consulting, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, and HR and Customer Service for companies like Everex, Citibank BPS, American Express, Northgate Arinso, and World Learning Hub. Jacqui has the knowledge and expertise to assist, guide and lead most functions across departments and is definitely a perfect fit for the new role.

With Jacqui’s addition to the executive team, she will oversee all the daily operations and help the company streamline all its processes across departments to create a more seamless transition of tasks. She will be directly reporting to the CEO, Ray Refundo, and she will be helping the company achieve even greater heights!
