Last year was a fruitful year for Qwikwire. A lot of partnerships, developments and expansions happened that brought Qwikwire closer to its vision: become the leading cross-border payment service provider for enterprises in Southeast Asia and eventually globally.

But as great as those accomplishments may be, it is all in the past. We are now in 2019. It’s time to break new boundaries, time to achieve new milestones that will definitely make Qwikwire one of the leading Fintech companies in Southeast Asia.

There are a lot of opportunities that can be explored for this year but Qwikwire’s strength is to know where to place its focus on. These can be seen in what every team’s plans and goals are.

So what’s next for Qwikwire this 2019?

Here are some of the few things that you can expect to take place in different departments.

Expansion

There were a lot of new client partners that were onboarded to Qwikwire. This year, the Sales Team are dedicated to adding more clients both locally and internationally.

As Qwikwire expand its reach nationwide (Philippines), Qwikwire will be growing its footing in Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) area. Qwikwire sees the great potential of the VisMin region playing a vital role in an economic boost within the country.

The demand for international real estate transactions has increased from $70 billion to $370 billion in the last seven years. In Southeast Asia, the real estate market is gaining attention from different nationalities around the globe. Qwikwire sees this opportunity to expand its reach in different Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Thailand.

With the plan to greatly increase Qwikwire’s presence not only inside the country but also in the neighboring countries, the Sales Team will definitely add it’s sales force to properly execute its expansion.

Facility

Year after year, Qwikwire’s user base and client partners are consistently growing at a steady pace. Last year alone, a total of 13 new client partners were onboarded to Qwikwire. And with the plan to further increase Qwikwire’s reach, the Tech Team is focusing on developing robust API that will cater to the scaling needs of Qwikwire’s client partners.

The Tech Team is also expanding its team to hasten the onboarding process of future clients as well as accelerate the development of all future projects for this year.

Our Reach

In achieving the goals of Qwikwire, involving more sales executives in Qwikwire’s business would be substantial and increasing their awareness with Qwikwire is one of the factors that should be looked into. Socialization events and giving incentives to sales executives will promote the use of Qwikwire within their clients thus increasing awareness of Qwikwire and most especially, overall transactions.

Client-centric campaigns would expand awareness of Qwikwire. By announcing different partnerships, writing PRs, and creating state of the art video content with different well-known companies (e.g. AyalaLand, GCash, Forest City), this will definitely contribute in establishing Qwikwire’s brand.

Business Development

In line with the mission of strengthening Qwikwire’s payment facilities, the Business Development Team has some amazing plans for our client partners.

First of is the full implementation for a cheaper way to process local payments for real estate. This year, Qwikwire is working on the local processing system to start accepting local payments. Soon, people can now pay their real estate fees even without living the comfort of their home.

Another plan for this year is to open up cross-border payments in different countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US and allowing Qwikwire to further increase its transaction volume.

There a lot of breakthroughs to get excited about for 2019, especially the plans that every Team is dedicated to achieving. With the help of each and everyone else, mixed with an eagerness to break boundaries, these plans are within reach.
