QwipIt Builds Bot to Enhance Live Experience

In partnership with Grandesign Inc, QwipIt built a Facebook Messenger Chatbot for a live experience for the Lights Out movie (a Warner Bros. Pictures) called the Scare Booth. The Scare Booth is set to run in Los Angeles and New York City from July 1, 2016, to July 22, 2016.

Fort Collins, Colorado — Local technology startup, QwipIt, is excited to announce the launch of a chatbot built on the Facebook Messenger platform. The chatbot is a part of a live experience called the Scare Booth. The Scare Booth takes willing and eager individuals through a booth that enables them to experience pieces of the new Warner Bros. Pictures movie: Lights Out.

Lights out follows that story line of the main character Rebecca. When Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) left home, she thought that her childhood fears were behind her. As a young girl growing up, she was never really sure of what was real when the lights went out at night. Now, her little brother Martin (Gabriel Bateman) is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that jeopardized her safety and sanity. Holding a mysterious attachment to their mother (Maria Bello), the supernatural entity has returned with a vengeance to torment the entire family.

The Lights Out movie is set to premiere on July 22, 2016.

“QwipIt is proud to partner with Grandesign in this unique experience which allows chatbots to be showcased in a way that doesn’t just deliver content or have a conversational experience,”commented QwipIt’s cofounder, Michael Bailey. “We are eager to go through the experience ourselves and hope that everyone who goes through the Scare Booth comes out with their hearts racing!”

QwipIt empowers brands to get out of the feed and into the conversation with enterprise messenger chatbots.
