disease: when human basic needs need to be supplied by a conscious and intentional effort. such a state can only be reached or induced by a diseased world, which is one that deprives humans of their basic needs. this can only be corrected by arranging the world in such a way that those needs will be supplied in a non conscious way, simply by following a certain (shared) routine. a society is only to be called such when this happens. anything else could be called wrong in the absolute, as it is not simply a specific way, among many possible, of providing for human needs, but it is precisely a deprivation of them. our adaptive capacity is a curse in such a situation, because if we simply died when our basic needs are not provided for, no lasting organization would be possible to perpetuate such a state. everything, then, lies around that which one takes those needs to be.
