It’s Wild Card Weekend in the NFL. Over the next 48 hours, all-stars will be tested; frauds will be exposed; and most importantly, six teams will be eliminated from the race to the Super Bowl. It’s one of the most exciting weekends in sports, and it features some of the top talent in the NFL. But which players will shine the brightest? Who are the best of the best? The all-stars among the pros?

Well, look no further. If you’re making a fantasy roster for Wild Card Weekend, here are the players you should include.

QB: Josh Allen

Few players have made a bigger name for themselves this season than Josh Allen. The Bills’ quarterback has been nothing short of incredible, ranking among the top 5 in the NFL in passing yards (4,544) and touchdowns (37). He’s got a cannon for an arm, and he’s been able to make an impact with his feet, too, rushing for 421 yards and 8 TDs in the regular season. Josh Allen put together an MVP caliber year in 2020, and there’s no sign of him slowing down in the playoffs.

RBs: Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara

While their respective styles of play are completely different, these two have dominated the run game in the NFL. Derrick Henry rumbled and stiff-armed his way to Offensive Player of the Year as he surpassed Adrian Peterson’s regular season rushing record of 2,000 yards. Even though Tannehill has proven himself to be a legit QB, Henry remains the beating heart of this Titans offense.

Kamara has been electric as well, rushing for nearly 1,000 yards and putting up 16 TDs, a career-high for the Saints running back. He’s also served as an effective receiver in the absence of Michael Thomas, garnering 752 receiving yards and 5 TDs. And let’s not forget Kamara’s historic performance on Christmas Day, when he tied the single game touchdown record with 6 TDs.

WRs: Stefon Diggs, Mike Evans

Both Diggs and Evans played their best football in 2020. Diggs posted career-highs in both receptions and receiving yardage, catching 127 passes for 1,535 yards. And Evans has proven himself to be Tom Brady’s favorite red zone target. He racked up 13 TDs, a career-high for the Tampa Bay veteran. Both players are key components in two of the most efficient, high-powered offenses in the NFL, and they’re looking to make opposing defenses tremble in the playoffs.

TE: Rob Gronkowski

It’s pretty obvious that the Gronk we’re watching in Tampa Bay is not the same Gronk we watched in New England. But in the back half of the season, the future Hall of Famer was able to shake off some rust and make an impact in this Bucs offense. The pass game is the bread and butter of Tampa Bay’s offense, and with an imposing Washington defensive line on the other side of the ball, you can expect Brady to look to his old friend for some help.

Flex: D.K. Metcalf

D.K. mustered plenty of hype at the NFL Draft Combine back in 2019, and this year he showed us why. He’s arguably the most athletic player in the league, and he’s top 10 in both receiving yards (1,303) and TDs (10) this season. Sure, he’ll be matched up against one of the league’s best corners in Jalen Ramsey, and Ramsey was able to wrap him up in their last two meetings. But I have a feeling D.K. will head into this game with a chip on his shoulder and cement his place as one of the best receivers in the NFL.

D/ST: Los Angeles Rams

There are a few outstanding defenses playing on Wild Card weekend. Washington’s defense has essentially carried them into the playoffs, and the Buccaneers defense is not to be trifled with. But when you have Aaron Donald in your lineup, it simply puts you head and shoulders above the competition. Add in Jalen Ramsey and Leonard Floyd, and you get the most intimidating defense in the NFL.

Kicker: Justin Tucker

I mean, I could list all of the stats, records, career-highs, etc. But do I need to? This man is automatic, and if Baltimore needs him to show up in a clutch situation, you can bet the house that he’ll deliver.

There’s elite, high-octane football on the horizon, so sit back, relax, and enjoy Super Wild Card Weekend.
