Debunking 20 Myths About True Love
Myths you still believe about true love but shouldn’t
We grow up fantasising about true love which we think we’ll meet round the corner when we’re sixteen years old. We feel so sure we’ll look into that sweet warm face and we will have found our soulmate, to be together forever till we die. That’s how we have been conditioned by media to think about love only in a certain way which may or may not not always be true.
Look at Instagram, TikTok, Youtube. Love is criminally commercialised, advertised, monopolised, extra-exaggerated, manipulated, fashionably dressed, and extravagantly over-used commodity, much like drug, and is deliberately designed to make everyone want to buy it. If we can’t buy it, we find life, world and ourselves empty and worthless.
How can we allow business’ agenda to dictate us how to feel about ourselves?
