What is it like being the smartest person in the room
A cake walk that’s no cake walk
We all want to be smart. We all want to be the smartest in our world or at least smartest in the room wherever that room may be, and however big or small. But being the smartest in the room entails a hell lot more than giving pretty, witty answers and exuding a glamourous golden halo.
The famous quote by Confucius, ‘If you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.’ has helped a handful of really smart ( and/or ‘wise’) people while the rest of us average lot remains stubbornly wedged in the same bumbling blindness of ‘I want to be the smartest in the room.’
The battle to be the smartest (in the room) has plagued gods, angels, demons, devils, heavens, jungles, animals, insects and humans alike. Their weapons may be different the struggle stays the same, the aim stays the same. This battle, once having started as earth and all its inhabitants evolved, has never abated and never will. Never!
