The first Horrible Histories book I read was the 20th Century. The most impressing part is when Russia sent a dog — Lakia into space, and America sent two monkeys into space! Also that Adrian Carton de thinks war is exciting and wanted to fight for the British! Also that Hillary and Tenzing were the first people to get on top of Chomolungma(Mount Everest).
I like the Horrible Histories series a lot, I can learn the history and entertain myself at the same time! The Horrible Histories series teaches you the history in a fun way and has a great way of telling it!
I would also like to finish reading the rest of the Horrible Histories series and read the rest of the horrible lot: “Horrible Science”, “Horrible Geography”, and “Murderous Maths”!
