The End Is Nigh: The Leftovers final season trailer has just been dropped

After listening to Max Richter’s Soundtracks for endless hours I felt like being stuck in my very own twilight zone. Music can have a profound effect on people, vibrating through the particles that we call matter, altering its state. Emotions, left over, set a particular mood and things get pretty dark and grim. In a nutshell, that’s what The Leftovers can do to you.

So, HBO’s The Leftovers might not be for everyone, but I love it. It’s one of the most original shows on television these days and a final season is on the horizon.

In the new trailer, Kevin (Justin Theroux) and Nora (Carrie Coon) are on their way to Australia threatened by a worldwide flood, accompanied by glimpses of a chaotic future. The mood has been set and our leftovers might not see the light again.

We’ll find out more, when The Leftovers third and last season premieres on April 16 on HBO with 10 episodes full of dark emotions and hopefully equally strong music.
