Reinstating Date Nights

Last night, I attended the University of Pittsburgh football game with my husband. I’m not the type that usually goes to sporting events, but it was something that I promised to say yes to more over the next year.
It was an adventure. From the Panthers blowing a 7-point lead in the bottom of the 4th and pulling it out in overtime, to the rain that started pouring. It was a soggy journey back to the car.
Nights like these are beginning to spark life back into us as a couple. It was a difficult first year and I thought about quitting. Thankful for expanding horizons and making decisions that benefit us at the same time.
Also, feeling more hopeful.
